Attorney Profile - Dr. Reuven Poupko, Esq
Dr. Poupko has been in private practice for over a decade. His areas of concentration include Personal Injury and Family Law. He serves both the Englsih speaking and Spanish speaking population, as he is fluent in Spanish. Prior to establishing his law practice, Dr. Poupko worked as an attorney for the City of Baltimore, which was then under the direction of Mayor Martin O’Malley. During his tenure with the city, Dr. Poupko was appointed by the Mayor to serve on the Baltimore City Board of Ethics. Dr. Poupko has also taught at various colleges and universities, including his alma mater, Touro College in New York. Dr. Poupko graduated with honors from Touro Law School where he received several awards. He received the American Jurisprudence Award as well as an award for Contributing to the Quality of Student Life. While studying at Touro Law Center, Dr. Poupko was elected as the President of the Jewish Law Students Network. He was also honored by being the only student, at that time, to be appointed as a Teacher’s Assistant. This appointment was based on academic achievement, character and communication skills. While still a student at Touro, Dr. Poupko earned a Doctorate in Counseling from the Hebrew Theological College at Skokie, Illinois. He was invited to present his dissertation at a National Conference in 1997. Dr. Poupko belongs to many Professional Associations, such as the Maryland State Bar Association, Maryland Association for Justice, American Bar Association and the American Trial Lawyers Association.
